How frequent are sessions?

I typically meet with clients once a week.

How long are sessions?

Sessions are scheduled for 50 minutes.

How are sessions conducted?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sessions occur through tele-health.

What is the cost per session?

$250.

When is payment due?

Payment for services is required in full by cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo at the time of visit.

Do you accept insurance?

No. I believe in comprehensive, clinically appropriate treatment that is specifically tailored to the individual needs of every client. Because of this practice philosophy, I do not participate in or accept payment from any commercial health insurance plans (including Medicaid or Medicare). These impose restrictions on the type of treatment offered and the amount of time we are able to spend on your care. Patients with out-of-network insurance benefits may be entitled to reimbursement by their health insurer, and I will provide a monthly billing statement that can be submitted for partial reimbursement.  Please check your coverage carefully to determine your out-of-network benefits.  Important questions to check prior to beginning treatment include: 1. Do I have current benefits for outpatient mental health services? 2. How many sessions are allotted per year? 3. What is my annual deductible and has it been reached yet this year? 4. What percentage of a session may be covered out of network? 5. Do I need a referral from my PCP to begin treatment?

Sliding scale services are available on a limited basis.

Is there a cancelation policy?

Yes. I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel an appointment at no cost to you. Otherwise, you’ll be responsible for paying the full cost of a missed appointment.
